3 Bridges Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

You’re invited to to the official celebration of the recent opening of the bridges located near the Cheadle Lake north parking lot. This event allows us to recognize the generous donations of those who were instrumental in the procurement and placement of these bridges, which provide a crucial link in our trail system. On the morning of December 10th, 2018, the first and longest bridge was placed into position. The photo here shows some of the activity from that day. Those in attendance were treated to an interesting visual experience of how something so large and heavy ends up correctly positioned. Since that day, the other two bridges have been placed in position and all other necessary work completed, and the bridges were recently opened for trail users. Come to the ceremony and watch the Mayor cut the ribbon. It’s finally time to celebrate!
