On Wednesday, March 6, the League of Women Voters will hold a forum at the Lebanon Public Library on the subject of affordable housing. Co-sponsored by the Rotary Club, the forum will concern how the city, the state, and private agencies are addressing the shortage of affordable housing, for both buyers and renters and both moderate- and low-income residents. The event will begin at 6:30 pm. Panelists at the forum will represent the city of Lebanon, DevNW, Crossroads Communities, the Linn-Benton Housing Authority, and the Farmworkers Housing Development Corporation. Each speaker will make a brief presentation, and a question-and-answer period will follow. The forum is free of charge and open to all. For more information about the event, call Linda at 503-707-1539. For more information about the League of Women Voters, see the Facebook page at “League of Women Voters of Linn County, Oregon.”
