ARBOR DAY FOUNDATION NAMES LEBANON TREE CITY USA:
LEBANON CELEBRATES ARBOR DAY
Lebanon, Oregon was named a 2016 Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation in honor of its commitment to effective urban forest management.
Lebanon achieved Tree City USA recognition by meeting the program’s four requirements: a tree board or department, a tree-care ordinance, an annual community forestry budget of at least $2 per capita and an Arbor Day observance and proclamation.

Christopher Columbus Park located at 2800 10th Street, Lebanon. The Parks Committee/Tree Board will be on hand along with students from the Lebanon Boys and Girls to plant several trees. The community of Lebanon is invited and encouraged to attend the Arbor Day celebration.
