This class meets the requirements of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and OSHA for documented CPR, AED, and choking training. This class is not accepted by OHA if they require your organization to have AHA or Red Cross certification. If you're not sure if this class would meet your requirements, please contact us prior to class. This class does not meet requirements for some adult foster care homes. This class is based on CDC guidelines. Subjects covered are one person CPR/AED, techniques on how to provide a positive outcome for the patient, and what to expect from responding emergency personnel. We also cover how to provide a positive outcome for the patient, understanding of common medical emergencies, and what to expect from responding emergency personnel. Upon successful completion, students will receive a CPR/AED with First Aid course Santiam CPR completion certificate. Certificates valid for two years. Please check with your organization to ensure this training meets their requirements.
