Peterson's Butte is privately owned and can only be accessed with permission. We are so excited to announce that we have been given permission again for BLT to access Peterson Butte! Join us on Saturday, April 9th at 10am for the most popular Build Lebanon Trails Hike. The top of the butte provides some of the best views around the Valley. Don?t forget your camera and binoculars!!! The hike will take around 2 hours and cover a distance of 2 ½ miles, including an elevation change of around 1000 feet. This is a more challenging hike that involves rocky surfaces and uneven footing. Be sure to wear footwear and clothing appropriate for the conditions. Many children and adults have hiked this trail with us and have enjoyed the wondrous views and nature. Poison oak is known to be along the route, so keep an eye out. We do mark areas before the hike. By request of the land-owners, please no dogs on this hike. Meet on the north side of the butte; just about a mile west of the Lebanon Airport. Parking is limited; please carpool if possible! Look for the BLT Event Hike signs!!!
