BLT McDowell Creek Hike
McDowell Creek Falls County Park is delightful in any season. Guided by one of the Linn County Park rangers, we’ll hike the 1.6-mile trail loop, passing several waterfalls on the way. We’ll have our whisper devices so you’ll get a guided tour in your ear from the ranger as you hike along. Please arrive a little early to sign-in. The park is about 13 miles and a 20-minute drive from Walmart in Lebanon and is one of our favorite events every year. Never been to McDowell Creek, come to enjoy why we live in Western Oregon! Special notes The trail is well groomed packed earth and there are some steep stairs to get to Royal Terrace Falls. Wear appropriate hiking shoes. The forest is usually cooler than the valley. Well mannered and leashed dogs are welcome. There are pit toilets and picnic tables at the entrance parking lot.
