History of Lebanon's Women's Clubs
On Thursday, October 20, the Lebanon Museum Foundation will present its first post-pandemic public program on local history. Madeleine Cariati, Betty Adams, and Sally Morgan will tell the stories of their respective clubs—the Women’s Study Club, the Present Day Club, and PEO Chapter V—each of them more than a century old. The panel will also consider other long-lived local women’s clubs and the reasons some of the clubs have thrived for so long. Scrapbooks from the Lebanon Junior Women’s Club and the Lebanon Senior Women’s Club will be on display. The program will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Lebanon Public Library, 55 Academy Street. This event is open to the public and free for all. For more information about this program or about the Lebanon Museum Foundation, call Linda at 503-707-1539.
