Donna is a Gerontologist who is currently the Community Relations Coordinator for New Horizons In-Home Care serving Lane, Linn Benton, Marion, Polk, Lincoln, Douglas and Coos counties of Oregon. Donna received her Masters degree at Marylhurst University in Portland, OR. She previously held positions with the University of Kansas School of Medicine, United Health Care and oversight of all Memory Care facilities for a national long-term care company. Donna’s specialty area is dealing with memory impairment and the impact on the individual and loved ones. She holds numerous positions on boards and advisory councils, including Chairperson for Senior and Disabled Services Advisory Council in Lane County, the Leadership Council of the Alzheimer’s Association Cascade Coast Chapter and the Advisory Council of Lane Community College Successful Aging Institute. Donna has been listed in Who’s Who In America, Women, Medicine & Healthcare, Business and Industry, and The World. She is a member of the Oregon Gerontological Association and the Gerontological Society of America.
