Injured Workers and Worker’s Compensation

Oregon provides certain rights to employees who are injured on the job. Most Oregon employers are prohibited from discriminating against employees because of such injuries. This seminar will include information about:

§         An employer’s obligations after an employee suffers an on-the-job injury under the Injured Worker Laws that are enforced by BOLI

§         Injured worker light and full duty release

§         Issues related to OFLA, FMLA, and ADA laws regarding injured workers

§         Oregon Worker’s Compensation overview, including stages of a claim, mediation, settlement, and hearings

§         Preferred Worker Program
