Live Longer Lebanon Coalition Networking Meeting
About us: Live Longer Lebanon was organized in February, 2017 and is a multidisciplinary volunteer coalition supporting the health goals of Lebanon’s community strategic plan. Live Longer Lebanon exists to “help Lebanon thrive with healthier, happier lives.” We are working toward a healthy community one sector at a time [sectors include schools, worksites, faith communities, community organizations, restaurants, and grocery stores].
Live Longer Lebanon embraces the “10 to Thrive” – ten evidence-based principles for healthy living that help focus initiative development and involvement: Family first, belong, have purpose, be safe, stress less, move daily, rest well, grow caring connections, spend less time on screens, and eat more greens. Live Longer Lebanon has supported several health-related initiatives. More to come! Watch our FaceBook page!
Attend our networking meetings usually occuring on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7am, Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital Conference Center. We do not meet in March or August, and our November/December meeting is combined and occurs on the Wednesday of the first week in December. The back doors of the hospital open at 6:30am. Come and learn about the community-wide 5-2-1-0 in 30 Challenge coming up each February and other initiatives planned throughout the year.
We are open and excited about supporting projects in other sectors as they emerge as needs. Contact Deb Fell-Carlson, RN, MSPH, COHN-S, FAAOHN | LLL Co-Lead at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 541-248-0595.
