"Ransom of Red Chief" Presented by LAFTA

LAFTA's first comedy play was written by O Henry.  Jonni Dorset, a very naughty little girl (Sadie Latimer) is kidnapped by two bumbling con artists (Logan Burt and Masen McAllister).  The totally inept Constable (Ryan McWayne) tries to help...but he just cain't get the job done.  He is hysterical!  Miss Milstead (Anna Parker) is a "frail old woman" who makes me laugh every time she, her cane and her purse make an entrance.  Mrs. Tatum (Terry Wadlow) is Jonni's teacher who never gives up on her.  Jonni's parents (Janet Crossan and Nic Bowman) need a new approach to parenting.  Mr. Dorsett (Nic) outsmarts the con artists and there is a humorous twist to the end of our story.  The cast is topped off with some of our LAFTA kids in the playground scene:
