Lebanon Ministerial Association will be hosting a community-wide event on the ten year anniversary of September 11, 2001 to honor first responders including police, fire fighters and 9-1-1 dispatchers. The police and fire chief are on board with this. We will be meeting from 5 to 6 pm Sunday, September 11 at the high school football field. This will be a great opportunity for our churches and our community to say thank you to those put themselves at risk in serving our community. The service will include a talk from a fire fighter and a police officer describing what it is like to be called to the scene of an emergency. We will pray separately for the fire fighters, police and dispatchers as well as show our appreciation by applauding them.
