Strawberry Century Bike Tour
Mark your calendars to come and celebrate the Silver Anniversary of the annual Strawberry Century! It's largely due in part to you, the rider, that every year has seen more participants, more miles, and more smiles at the end of the event each year. This year's event stays in line with that progress, and adds a 25-mile route to our menu, along with bringing back our "Epic" climb option over Mark's ridge. The scenic 500 extra feet of vertical climb past the winery was so popular for those looking to spice up their 75 and 100 mile rides, that we're also offering it to our 50 mile riders. And, as always, there is a 13 mile route for those new to cycling or the family with smaller children.
You and your friends will be well supported by frequent, fully stocked aid stations and friendly volunteers as you climb over rolling, scenic landscapes, and through charming historic towns on little-traveled Willamette Valley back roads. Lunch is included for riders in the 25, 50, 75, and 100 mile categories, with a hefty serving of strawberry shortcake provided to all participants at the end of their ride.
A portions of the proceeds from the Strawberry Century are used each year to support local charities and organizations that benefit children throughout Linn County. If there's ever a reason to ride bikes, what better reason than for kids? Register today, and join us on June 10, 2017 for a day of fun, fitness, and friends!
All routes begin and end at 1700 S 5th Street, Lebanon, OR 97355(Lebanon High School). Restrooms and water are available at the school. Showers are available upon request; bring your own towel.
