David Pinyerd and Bernadette Niederer, who have repaired headstones in Lebanon’s Pioneer Cemetery as well as many other old graveyards in Oregon, will speak about their work on Wednesday, November 5, at 5:30 p.m. at the Lebanon Public Library. The principals at Historic Preservation Northwest, a small business based in Albany, David and Bernadette are both are graduates of the University of Oregon’s master’s program in Historic Preservation. Since 2017, the two have repaired more than 1,400 headstones in Oregon. We think you’ll find their methods and photographs fascinating.
