We have a very interesting replacement speaker; Dr. Michael Peterson, DVM. The name of his presentation will be: "From Snakebites to Snail Bait-Your pets and Natural Toxins. Learn about snake venom, spiders, insects and other natural toxins that you and your pet might encounter in the Northwest.
Dr. Paterson attended St. Martin's College in Lakeview, WA and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. He received a Masters in Toxicology from the University of Arizona, and has been a practicing Veterinarian since 1983. He has authored multiple textbooks on Toxicology and small animals pediatrics.

| The Lebanon Ugly Sweater Run is a community holiday event with proceeds benefiting the LHS class of 2015 drug and alcohol free graduation party and the LHS Cross Country program. The Ugly Sweater Run is in conjunction with Lebanon's Holiday in the Park and will start and finish near Ralston Park. The course will cover city residential streets in the afternoon just prior to the tree lighting ceremony. Participants are encouraged to bring a headlamp or flashlight. Kids under 18 participate for $5. Prizes for "Ugliest Sweater" to be awarded. The Ugly Sweater Run is coordinated by parents of the senior class and the LHS Cross Country Program. |

No one knows how much money Gregory DeLaMar has. What they do know about Gregory is; he flaunts his money and he is arrogant. Seemingly, his heart is not touched with any form of compassion.
It’s no surprise to the small Lebanon community that DeLaMar is sponsoring----and making a big tadoo over a “talent show.” At the conclusion of the talent show, Gregory will award “the greatest gift” of the season. He will be the solo adjudicator and his criteria must be met: 75% of each contestant’s total points go toward their plan of how they would spend the prize money should they win. Only 25% goes toward their talent. DeLaMar wants people to use the money as he would---with much bravado.
DeLaMar tallies the points and makes his final decision. No one, including DeLaMar, could have predicted what “the greatest gift” would actually be. |
