Proceeds raised will go to Bags of Love, a local agency that provides assistance to children in need "one bag of love at a time." Each handmade bag is filled with a quilt, a stuffed animal, and age-appropriate clothing, toiletries, games, books, and other supplies and then given to children who are removed from their homes due to instances such as neglect and abuse. Proceeds will also support The Willamalane Foundation the nonprofit advocacy organization formed in 1983 that supports the activities and facilities of Willamalane Park and Recreation District that works separately but in partnership with Willamalane. |

| Nov 21 Lebanon Library Family Game Night |
| The Lebanon Public Library will join over a thousand libraries around the world to celebrate the eighth annual International Games Day @ Your Library on Saturday, November 21. Like so many other libraries across the country and around the world, Lebanon library will offer special board games and events suitable for the whole family. Families are invited to visit the library during the regular open hours that day (10 am - 2 pm), when there will be a variety of board games set up throughout the library, and then join us again "after hours" from 6:30 - 9 pm to enjoy games and light refreshments. The library will provide games, and families are encouraged to bring their own favorite board games to share, as well. Rounding out the evening will be a fun session of Brown Bag Bingo, starting at 8 pm. |

Please come to auditions with a well prepared Christmas song of your choice. (vocal or instrumental) Our rehearsal time is minimal at best. In the past we have tried to take rehearsal time to work with songs that weren't quite ready to perform. We will not have time to redo/fix songs. Hence the "well prepared" wording.
Please bring a copy of your music for the accompanist to use.

| Nov 26 Oregon Mid-Valley Road Race |
The Oregon Mid-Valley Road Race is a premiere running event held annually on Thanksgiving morning. Organized by the Mid-Valley Lions Club and managed by a professional race management company, the chip timed event raises funds to help meet growing medical needs in the Mid-Valley and supports local service organizations' community projects. Mid-Valley Lions donations provide free vision and hearing assistance, health screenings, youth outreach activities, local, national and international disaster relief and international efforts to prevent blindness.
There are four events to choose from: (1) the 5.2 Mile Scenic Challenge Run, (2) the 3.75 Mile ‘To Hill and Back” Run, (3) a 2.5 Mile Walk and (4) a 1/3 mile Little OMRR Kids Dash has been added for the kids to make this a complete family fun event! And, to make things even more interesting, there is a King and Queen of the Hill Competition. Cash and prizes are awarded. The School Challenge is a signature feature of the Oregon Mid-Valley Road Race. A $1,000 prize will be given to each of the local Junior High and High School that recruits the most race participants. The funds are awarded to the PTO or Booster Club at the winning schools and each school receives a 'Lions Spirit Award' trophy to be displayed along with other school awards and trophies for the current school year. All race registrants can support a local school so everyone is encouraged to participate in the Oregon Mid-Valley Road Race School Challenge when registering.
