She lived in the city and on weekends in the Village of Elephants. The Village was a traditional one with cattle and rice fields and hand-loomed cotton and silk fabrics. Ms. Joseph will show fabrics and share aspects of the culture of kindness. |

| Message from the Sweet Home Trails Group. Hello everyone Our annual hike with Build Lebanon Trails is next Saturday March 14th at 10:00am and is always a great event. This will be a great chance to meet some new folks and walk the Western States Property. As always we will have some coffee and snacks. Come enjoy this great hike, we look forward to seeing you. When: Saturday March 14, 10:00am Where: Meet at the end of 24th street in Sweet Home, just past the city maintenance shop. Bring: Dress for the weather (lets hope its similar to today) and waterproof boots are a good idea. There is one area where we have to walk on logs in water. | The community is invited to visit the Lebanon Veterans Home for a fun filled day with veterans, family and friends. Event parking at Pioneer School. Join the staff dressed in 50s theme! Events: 12pm-2pm Happy Hours Photobooth will be on site with an array of 50's and Americana props. 12pm-3pm Car clubs will be in the front parking lot featuring the Rolling Oldies of Lebanon, "Stand By Me" Car Club of Brownsville, and Early Ford V-8 Club of Corvallis!\ 12pm-3pm Face Painting: Felicific Faces of Sonlit Clowns presented by Terrabunn 12pm-4pm Oregon Veterans' Motorcycle Association (OVMA) sponsored booth of FREE military surplus supplies and clothing for all, while supplies last. 3pm-4pm Musical Guest Pat Patridge along with a pianist and vocalist will be singing an array of "Oldies but Goodies" in the Activity Room.
