| It is time for the annual Peterson Butte Hike! Join us on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10:00am for the most popular Build Lebanon Trails Hike. The top of the butte provides some of the best views around the Valley. Don't forget your camera and binoculars!!! The hike will take around 2 hours and cover a distance of 2.5 miles with an elevation change of around 1,000 feet. This is a more challenging hike that involves rocky surfaces and uneven footing. Be sure to wear footwear and clothing appropriate for the conditions. Poison oak is known to be along the route, so keep an eye out. By request of the land-owners, please no dogs on this hike. Kids can hike, too! Directions Meet on the north side of the butte; just about a mile west of the Lebanon Airport. At the bend on Airport Road and Denny School Road, veer onto Denny School Road towards the butte. Parking is limited; please carpool if possible! |
