Cascade Performing Arts offers an introductory ballet class for teens and adults who have never taken ballet before or who have some experience and are dancing at a beginning level. If you've always dreamed about taking ballet but never got around to it, or took it as a child, this is the perfect class for you! This friendly ballet class meets on Wednesdays at Cascade Performing Arts Studio in Lebanon.

Feb 4    Seed to Supper Free Gardening Classes
The Oregon State University Extension Service Master Gardener ™ Program, in partnership with the Oregon Food Bank, is proud to offer Seed to Supper to Linn and Benton counties in 2016. Seed to Supper is a FREE comprehensive six-week beginning gardening course that gives novice, adult gardeners the tools and confidence they need to successfully grow a portion of their own food on a limited budget.
Classes meet for 2 hours once a week for six weeks. At the first week's class, participants will be given a gardening booklet that is theirs to keep. At the completion of classes, participants may also be given seeds and/or plant starts to take home. Over the course of six weeks participants learn about building healthy soil; planning, planting, and caring for their garden; and harvesting and using their bounty.

Feb 13    BLT Trail Development Day at Marks Slough
Come join Build Lebanon Trails on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00am at Marks Slough Trailhead. The Marks Slough Trail area needs to be cleared of invasive species. Come lend a hand with Build Lebanon Trails and help prepare the area for our native plantings project this spring. Meet at the Marks slough trailhead on Tennessee Road with gloves, shovels, and hoes. Put a little time into removing unwanted plants from one of the most popular trails in town. Feel free to bring friends to help Build Lebanon Trails make the most out of this one day work party. *Notes: Dress appropriately for the weather and trail development work. May bring own tools.
