The Lebanon Community Chorus’ Winter Season begins its 51st year at All singers 18 years of age and older, regardless of experience, are encouraged to become members of the LCC.
Under the direction of Colin Salisbury, the Winter Concert will be held on Sunday, December 10th and feature a collection of multicultural and seasonal works including Eric Whitacre's Five Hebrew Love Songs, a jamming African piece, and a collaborative effort with the Lebanon High School chorus.

The course is designed to improve citizens? understanding of the workings of the various areas of the Linn County Sheriff?s Office and to gain a deeper understanding of how we are organized and operate. The atmosphere at the Citizens Academy is fun and informative with classes being taught by Sheriff`s Office team members.
Citizens Academy participants are introduced to each division and specialty team within the Linn County Sheriff?s Office including Patrol, Corrections, defense tactics, traffic enforcement, narcotics investigations, Search and Rescue, Communications/Dispatch, Animal Control, work crew, prisoner transport and emergency vehicle operation. In addition, we will also host a Saturday Range Day session where students will learn firearm fundamentals and safety, and have the opportunity to participate in live fire exercises.

The Lebanon Community Chorus’ Winter Season begins its 51st year at All singers 18 years of age and older, regardless of experience, are encouraged to become members of the LCC.
Under the direction of Colin Salisbury, the Winter Concert will be held on Sunday, December 10th and feature a collection of multicultural and seasonal works including Eric Whitacre's Five Hebrew Love Songs, a jamming African piece, and a collaborative effort with the Lebanon High School chorus.

The course is designed to improve citizens? understanding of the workings of the various areas of the Linn County Sheriff?s Office and to gain a deeper understanding of how we are organized and operate. The atmosphere at the Citizens Academy is fun and informative with classes being taught by Sheriff`s Office team members.
Citizens Academy participants are introduced to each division and specialty team within the Linn County Sheriff?s Office including Patrol, Corrections, defense tactics, traffic enforcement, narcotics investigations, Search and Rescue, Communications/Dispatch, Animal Control, work crew, prisoner transport and emergency vehicle operation. In addition, we will also host a Saturday Range Day session where students will learn firearm fundamentals and safety, and have the opportunity to participate in live fire exercises.

The course is designed to improve citizens? understanding of the workings of the various areas of the Linn County Sheriff?s Office and to gain a deeper understanding of how we are organized and operate. The atmosphere at the Citizens Academy is fun and informative with classes being taught by Sheriff`s Office team members.
Citizens Academy participants are introduced to each division and specialty team within the Linn County Sheriff?s Office including Patrol, Corrections, defense tactics, traffic enforcement, narcotics investigations, Search and Rescue, Communications/Dispatch, Animal Control, work crew, prisoner transport and emergency vehicle operation. In addition, we will also host a Saturday Range Day session where students will learn firearm fundamentals and safety, and have the opportunity to participate in live fire exercises.

| Sep 29 Classroom to Careers Expo - Open to the Public |
| The Boys & Girls Club has gathered an extensive panel of industry and business leaders to plan and present the East Linn County Classroom to Careers Expo. The event is being designed to provide Lebanon and Sweet Home middle school and high school students with hands on exposure to important local industries such as construction, trucking, railroad, domestic and heavy construction, machine operation, manufacturing, and more. Over 30 exhibits are being planned including five virtual reality simulators, and opportunities to get real experience operating heavy equipment, welders, and more. A list of exhibits and participating industries and organizations is posted at www.bgcgreatersantiam.org. If you’d like to get involved contact Kris Latimer at kris@bgcgreatersantiam.org. Classroom to Careers Expo will be open to the public from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on the 29th and will be located in and around the Santiam Travel Station (train depot). |
